Head of Product (H/F) – Tecnifibre  – Feucherolles (78)

As Head of Product at Tecnifibre, you will lead the brand’s product vision across all categories: racquets, strings, textile, bags, balls, accessories, stringing machines, Footwear, and all covering four racquet sports: tennis, squash, padel, and pickleball.

You will manage a team of Product and Category Managers and drive product strategy across categories and key markets, ensuring all developments reflect Tecnifibre’s brand identity and deliver excellence to players worldwide. In doing so, you will also adapt the global strategy in local initiatives to support the business with key markets and clients.

Missions

Product strategy

  • Develop the product roadmap across all sports and categories, ensuring innovations are in line with the brand’s strategic positioning
  • Include local specificities to win on key markets and with strategic clients to develop the business and the brand’s visibility where it matters most

Team leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire the Product and Category managers, ensuring clear priorities and strong alignment with the brand’s vision, as well as high-level execution to ensure best quality of all our products

Strings & balls

  • Operate as product manager / category manager on the balls and the strings categories (two of the most strategic categories). Huge focus to be put on the strings category to reimagine the future of the category at Tecnifibre

Commercial support

  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to provide the tools, training, and narratives they need to drive product success in-market

Go-to-market excellence

  • Partner with the Communication team to deliver impactful product launches and storytelling that resonate with players and consumers across the different channels that the brand operates (in-store, in-clubs, online & e-commerce)

Operational coordination

  • Work hand-in-hand with Supply Chain and strategic factory partners to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective product development

Expériences et compétences

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with at least 5 years’ experience leading teams and setting strategic priorities
  • Excellent organizational, process and relationship management skills; ensuring efficiency across product development, sales teams and global operations
  • Proven expertise in product development of B2C hard goods, ideally carbon-based (e.g., bikes, skis, helmets), with a strong preference for sports industry experience
  • Business and marketing-driven mindset with the ability to interact with clients, capture and understand market dynamics and craft persuasive marketing stories and sales arguments
  • Ability to work efficiently and thrive in an international environment. Fluent in French and English mandatory
  • Deep passion for tennis and racquet sports as a personal and professional driver, with a strong player’s mentality
